Shipping policy

PRIORITY PROCESSING - DISPATCHED WITHIN 24 HOURS

Our family works hard to get your orders to you quickly. Orders within NZ are dispatched within 24 hours (Monday to Friday, not including weekends & holidays).) when credit card authorization or bank deposit has cleared. Admin and shipping are done Monday-Friday.  Delays can happen, and sometimes unique items can take a week to be dispatched - you can contact us at any time to check on the status of a special item.

All orders placed on Friday after 1:00 pm will be processed the following Monday. We do not charge extra for rural deliveries in New Zealand. PLEASE NOTE: There may be a delay over public holidays. We will do everything we can to get your order to you.


NEW ZEALAND: We use Go Sweet Spot as our courier provider.

All shipping is done via Courier with a tracking number. We exclusively work with NZ Post, NZ Courier, Post Haste and Castle Parcel. We choose the company with the best availability and delivery times when your order is dispatched.

Delivery targets are: NZ Post Target: delivery to business addresses by 9 am the next working day and residential addresses the next working day to over 180 major towns and cities. NZ Courier Target: Residential delivery zone - by the end of the next business day or the day after. Post Haste Target: Residential delivery zone - by the end of the next business day or the day after.Castle Parcel Economy service, residential delivery zone targets delivery by the end of the next business day or the day after.

  • Order Cutoff Time: 6:00 pm - (GMT+12:00) NZST(Auckland)
  • Handling Time: 1 - 2 days
  • Transit Time: 1 - 5 days
  • Fulfilled: Monday – Friday 

 

AUSTRALIA

All shipping is done via Courier with a tracking number. We exclusively work with NZ Post and FedEx. We choose the company with the best availability and delivery times when your order is dispatched. Delivery targets are: NZ Post: Tracked. Note: Insurance cover is limited to NZD$250. Mail service, no POD/sign-on delivery provided. Max allowed 2KG if underdeclared; this will be put through INTL Courier service. Reminder: COVID-19 surcharges still applyFedEx: if there is no customs delay. The delivery target is based on freight arriving at the FedEx Export hub in Auckland by 5 pm the next day. Because we are outside Auckland, an extra day may be added to transit time. Standard loss/damage cover is limited to USD$100 or USD$20/KG.details.

INTERNATIONAL 

All shipping is done via Courier with a tracking number. We exclusively work with FedEx for orders outside of New Zealand and Australia. FedEx: if there is no customs delay. The delivery target is based on freight arriving at the FedEx Export hub in Auckland by 5 pm the next day. Because we are outside Auckland, an extra day may be added to transit time. Standard loss/damage cover is limited to USD$100 or USD$20/KG.

PICK-UP FOR ONLINE ORDERS

  1. You can now arrange a pick-up in-store. This service is available from our home in Halswell, Christchurch.
  2. The steps to doing this are super easy!
  3. Place your order as usual on our website.
  4. Select YOUR usual address and on the shipping page, select the Pick-up option.
  5. Wait to receive the pick-up email that will let you know your order is ready to pick up.
  6. Once the email notification has been received, you can contact us to arrange a pick-up time. 
  7. Provide your name and order reference.

The turnaround for a Pick-up option is usually between 2-5 working days. Pick-up hours are between 9 am-5 pm, Monday - Friday. Please note that any online customer orders that have already been processed into our system will not be able to request an in-store Pick-up option, only orders placed.


WHERE'S MY ORDER? TRACKING HAS NOT BEEN UPDATED? 

If your order has not been marked delivered, please:

  1. allow 1-5 days for your package to turn up; and
  2. reach out to your postal worker directly.

If your tracking doesn't update after five days, don't hesitate to contact customer support at info@gujaraticookbook.com. All shipping is done via Courier with a tracking number. We exclusively work with Castle Parcel, Post Haste, NZ Couriers, NZ Post and FedEx. We intend to ship your order within 24hrs of it being received. During peak times, delays can occur at busy times of the year or with interruptions to services due to unforeseen circumstances.
